Welcome to you for a virtual visit to our school. We hope that you will enjoy browsing around our website and find it interesting and informative.
I am happy and proud to introduce the philosophy of our School. For those of you who are not familiar with the school, Canossa School is a Catholic missionary school run by the Canossian Daughters of Charity. Our Foundress St. Magdalene of Canossa began the first Charity school in 1808, at Verona, Italy. Thus we have a glorious history of over two centuries. Today, the Canossian presence is recognizable in 32 countries of the 5 continents. We want to provide our students with the best possible start in life and guide and support them to reach their complete potential. At Canossa, we create a student friendly atmosphere, where every individual feel secure. The staff at Canossa aim to provide a caring ethos for the children, within which a wide range of learning opportunities exists to enable all children to grow into conscientious, self-governing and responsible citizens of our country.
As Canossian educators, we try our level best to form the young minds and hearts of the children, safeguarding their human rights and dignity. We endeavor to create an accommodating, and promoting atmosphere in our class rooms, playground and in the hearts and minds of children, teachers and all present in the school. Protection, inclusion, and respect for diversity are our way of life, leaving no room for bullying, abuse and discrimination. We want everyone in the school to relate to each other not as rich or poor, powerful or powerless, dark or fair, passed or failed, Hindu, Muslim or Christian, but as human beings made equal by the rights and dignity we share. So, together we shall explore, promote, and live human rights and responsibilities, and develop a collective conscience, upholding the values of fraternity, truth, compassion and human dignity.
Dear parents, There are many opportunities for parents/guardians to share in your child’s education. We look forward to work in partnership with you to ensure your child’s success. I hope that our website becomes a valuable part of this relationship and serves to improve communication and useful information.
